Brand overlays in the image for Co-Op
When we upload the image of the car to the feed, we can overlay a custom header and/or footer template (required for Co-Ops like CDJR) which will display on every piece of inventory for that particular campaign. NOTE: We can also embed price (on Facebook) on the image but that’s specifically for automated campaigns.
Display ads when there is no price
Facebook requires ads to have an image and price in order to upload the feed. SocialBot has figured out a workaround that allows us to display either mileage or “call for price” text in the same ads as ones with price. This allows us to access a dealer’s full inventory. Typically, in most ads someone choses a default option (price, mileage, or call for price) under the image but our system can display price and if price isn’t available display something else like mileage or call for price.
Dynamic Copy & Custom Copy
We can prepend or append our dynamic copy which changes over time that has the dealer name and bodystyle in the copy already. This allows you to add your own text while still having our dynamic copy available. Of course, you can also just use your own copy either for all adsets or edit per adset.
Hide stock inventory
We can skip inventory that only has a stock image. Our system has the ability to determine if an image is stock and can skip, if desired.
Price/Strikethrough
As a stronger call to action our system is already monitoring price changes and if there is a price reduction from the first day of index we’ll display the original price with a strike-through which is a strong call to action for users to click (to see the price). We’re also looking into displaying a dollar amount below MSRP on new car inventory listings. If the car is below MSRP it shows the actual discount amount in addition to price.

The core of our system optimizes performance based on how each body style or category is performing and shifts spends and turns ad sets on/off based on how they perform. This system also has built-in safeguards to protect against overspends.

Our system has over 50 templates for various CMS systems in Automotive. SocialBot has continued to add additional templates as new dealers are onboarded (as standard). Our system goes out to the dealer website (daily) and pulls all inventory as well as compares it with the existing data to see if there are issues with price, images, or availability on the website.

If an agency has a standard requirement for UTMs we can set up a default profile for future campaigns. In addition, our system will inject dynamic elements such as body style, campaign type, or VIN so it can be reported in Google Analytics.

We can index multiple images of the inventory in order to support Facebook OFD (On-Facebook Destination) campaigns. This type of campaign essentially displays a simplified VDP page within Facebook.
